MicroMass Hires Rob Peters as Vice President, Professional Strategy
Cary, N.C., December 2008 - MicroMass Communications, Inc., a leader
in behavioral science-based relationship marketing in the healthcare industry, has
hired Rob Peters to the position of vice president, professional strategy. As a part of
the strategic services group, he will have responsibility for accounts in the areas of
chronic kidney disease and hand surgery, and he reports to James Pietz, vice president, group director strategic services.
Peters, 37, has a decade of experience, both domestically and internationally, in medical marketing, promotion and CME. His range of experience includes work in categories including antibiotics, cardiovascular, HIV/AIDs, vaccines, sepsis, immunology, neurology and general practice management.
He comes to MicroMass from Proed Communications, a Beachwood, Ohio-based
group that provides clinical, marketing and regulatory services to the healthcare industry worldwide. Most recently vice president, associate practice leader, medical strategy and promotions, he directed medical promotions for products in the cardiovascular area, working with thought leaders and developing strategy for the firm's many healthcare clients.
While he was there, he was the 2006 winner of the Shining Star Award, honoring outstanding contributions to the company.

Before that, Peters was client service director of MediTech Media, a global medical education company based in Atlanta, Ga., where, as client service director, he managed products that included antibiotics, vaccines and HIV/AIDs, and contributed to new business development.
Peters holds a Bachelor of Science in applied biology from Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Ga., and lives in Holly Springs, N.C.
