Account Supervisor

Responsibilities:

Relocation to Raleigh, NC area required In this high-profile role, the individual will interface directly with clients and MicroMass communications staff to design and optimize client solutions. Candidate must be a self-motivated team player who has excellent oral and written communication skills. Account management experience within a pharmaceutical advertising agency is preferred as well as ability to direct a diverse team of professionals to develop a well thought-out, strategically driven program.
  • Day-to-day management of assigned accounts and MicroMass account team
  • Collaborate with clients on strategic and tactical planning
  • Maintain and build successful relationships between MicroMass and key pharmaceutical clients
  • Identify and expand relationship with new revenue opportunities in assigned account
  • Review brand marketing plans and assess opportunities to integrate MicroMass’ solutions within overall brand strategies to enhance brand value
  • Responsible for all assigned accounts, including: clear communication of client needs to internal team, strategy development in concert with MicroMass Strategic Services, financials, overseeing development, and implementation

Requirements:

  • Must have 5 to 7 years of experience managing pharmaceutical marketing accounts with demonstrated expertise managing RM campaigns and RM assignments targeting consumer
  • Leadership requirements: ideal candidate needs to be comfortable leading a diverse team, including other account staff, project managers, creative, and technology personnel of varying levels of seniority
  • Detail and process-oriented; excellent communication skills with a strong sense of how work flows through an agency
  • Utilization of the team and agency processes to ensure the highest quality and timely delivery of work to “end user”
  • Decision-making ability that will include assessing priorities, impact on timeliness, etc
  • Prior experience in working collaboratively with team members residing in different locations

Behaviorist

Responsibilities:

We are currently seeking an individual who brings a unique understanding of behavioral science — someone who can turn a mountain of research and facts into compelling insights into how to change patient or provider behavior. This individual needs to understand key behavioral insights, but more importantly, have the skill and creativity to apply these insights to the strategy and execution of health communication programs.  We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about behavioral science and thrives in a fast-paced environment with a “whatever it takes” attitude.  The behaviorist will help assess, plan, develop and evaluate multi-channel health education and marketing programs and materials.
  • Understand basic marketing concepts and be able to integrate with behavioral science principles
  • Using medical, behavioral and communication journals, conduct literature reviews related to target audience/condition, interpret study results, and determine key behavioral insights
  • Assess needs of the target audience and determine relevant behavior change strategies that can be incorporated into marketing and education programs
  • Conduct competitive analysis of programs (including healthcare marketing programs, behavioral interventions, etc.)
  • Develop communication plans (curriculums) for patient and physician marketing/education programs
  • Participate in the following primary/market research activities:
    • outlining research objectives
    • developing research instruments (i.e., discussion guides, surveys)

Requirements:

Senior Account Executive

Responsibilities:

CRM experience in mandatory for consideration. The Senior Account Executive (SAE) will interface with the various departments of MicroMass to move work through the agency on behalf of the client.  This includes meeting with directors of creative, strategic, and technology services as well as a large account team. The SAE will interface with multiple agency offices and teams on MicroMass’ side, and with brand and/or e-business contacts on the client side. SAE will be responsible for implementing the defined strategy that drives identified client deliverable(s). The SAE will apply and speak to the fundamentals of evidence based behavior change strategies throughout projects.  
  • Day-to-day management on an assigned project, campaign within a particular account.
  • Build and manage successful relationships between MicroMass Communications and assigned clients.
  • Be a team leader that takes initiative and drives business.
  • Be detail oriented, well organized, and have the ability to manage multiple tasks consistently.
  • Meet regularly with Creative Services/Technology Services/Project Manager to coordinate agency efforts on behalf of assigned clients/accounts.

Senior Project Manager

Responsibilities:

Project management is the driving force that MicroMass Communications can’t do without; the #1 functional area when it comes to executing client work/internal projects. PMs are the internal point of contact for all projects, an operational partner with the Account Team, and the liaison for the entire development team (Strategic Services, Creative Services, Technology Services, Operations, Accounting, and Administration).  As the “Go To” person, project managers oversee and manage end-to-end development of projects according to the business processes.
  • Identify and avert possible risks that impact projects
  • Understand the nature of the work performed by each MicroMass functional area (who does what, when, and how long it takes)
  • Craft initial and ongoing project milestones for MicroMass, clients, and vendor/agency partners
  • Create, update, and maintain detailed project schedules and ensure all deliverables are met according to the schedule
  • Oversee and manage end-to-end development of projects according to the business process, verify that project deliverables are within project scope and are delivered above expected quality standards, ensuring quality from the beginning to end
  • Participate in account planning, providing the execution strategy (pricing, deliverables and timing) for all projects.
  • Strong spokesperson and an advocate for the entire team.
  • Presents MicroMass’ capabilities and processes internally and externally based on knowledge of who does what, when and how long execution takes.
  • Owns vendor/agency partner relationship in terms of execution and deliverables.
  • First point of contact in securing appropriate internal and external resources for existing projects.  Integral in all decisions made regarding project resources, budgets, process, and schedules.
  • Active listener that brings project teams together to creatively solve challenges associated with project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Internal check/balance to verify acceptable quality levels before delivered internally to the Account Team
  • Build rapport with MicroMass’s internal development team, outside vendors, agency partners and, where necessary, the client in order to meet project deliverables on time and on budget
  • Balance project schedules, deliverables, and resource needs across existing and new client/internal projects
  • Work with functional area managers and other PMs to ID and secure project resources
  • Provide project status across all chains of command, both internally and externally
  • Develop estimate for hours and out of pockets for new projects.
  • Monitor budgets on existing projects
  • Submit requests from the Account Team for Program Reports to the development team and reviewing the results prior to delivery to the Account Team
  • Lead ongoing process improvement initiatives
  • Support training of junior project managers
     

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience

Speaker Program Event Coordinator

Responsibilities:

Experienced and professional meeting planner with ability to manage logistics in support of speaker dinner programs annually. Must be able to anticipate project needs, discern work priorities, and meet deadlines with little supervision, be willing to travel, work some evenings, and occasional weekends. The speaker program event coordinator should provide outstanding customer service, be enthusiastic and professional. Implements and optimizes program management based on client driven benchmarks within regulatory and client specific compliance guidelines.  Develops and maintains customer, supplier, and staff relations. Supervises management and reporting of all financial and compliance program data. Provides leadership to clients at every step of the strategy implementation process
  • Understands project services scope, specifications, and takes responsibility for assisting with different aspects of project execution (including program logistics management, client correspondence, venue and speaker confirmation, registration monitoring, program materials, and post-program wrap-up)
  • Prioritize client response time and provide daily status to clients
  • Manages all meeting materials required for project execution, i.e. invitation customization, meeting checklists, itineraries, surveys, etc.
  • Attends and participates in client meetings and conference calls.
  • Serves as a resource to vendors and clients to ensure successful program outcome.
  • Supports attendee registration management: facilitates registration capture, data input, cross-     checks, confirmations, and reminders.
  • Administers evaluation data input / analysis / reporting.
  • Oversees sign-in sheet data input / reporting.
  • Populate and distribute Consulting Agreements and W9’s.
  • Responsible portal administration and data.
  • Follows company compliance policy and procedures to ensure that client programming initiatives follow regulatory and corporate guidelines. 
  • Assist with negotiations for contracts (on own or through 3rd party), book event space, arrange food and beverage and audiovisual equipment, travel arrangements, and ensure to meet the quality expectations of the client and budgetary limits.
  • Proactively gather all necessary information on each project to achieve high quality output of all aspects for each live meeting/event. This should be based on parameters relative to individual client needs.
  • Keep track of event finances including budget tracking, honoraria/check requests, invoicing, and Sunshine Act.
  • Close out all events as required regarding budgets, receipt, and expense gathering and reconciliations.
  • Participate in internal and external team meetings as needed.

Requirements:

  • Previous pharmaceutical Speaker Program experience with Physicians and/or within the pharmaceutical industry, minimum 2 years.
  • Attention to detail and excellent communication skills, including writing, proofreading and speaking.
  • Expert ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments from a variety of internal and external customers.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills both in person and via phone, with high level of professionalism.
  • Flexible work schedule.
