MicroMass Wins PM360 Trailblazer Award

September 23, 2016

SaxendaCare®, a patient support program to help people lose weight, won the prestigious PM360 Trailblazer award in the Persistence/Adherence program category.

SaxendaCare® is a step-by-step program created to help patients who are struggling with obesity to build the skills that they need to make healthier choices and reach their goals.

The SaxendaCare® program goes beyond basic nutrition and physical activity education by leveraging evidence-based approaches such as health coaching, goal setting, and cognitive behavioral techniques. These approaches help to disrupt ingrained beliefs, drive lasting change in behavior, and deliver a differentiated brand experience.

SaxendaCare® was evaluated on the program’s ability to overcome challenges, the skill, innovation, and quality of planning and execution, and the effectiveness of the work. This is the third win for SaxendaCare®.  Earlier this year, SaxendaCare® won Silver from the DTC National Advertising Awards (Patient Engagement or Support Program/CRM) and also won Bronze from the Digital Health Awards. Last fall, SaxendaCare® was also named a finalist for the PM360 Pharma Choice Awards.

In addition to SaxendaCare®, MicroMass was also named as a finalist in 2 other award categories: OPEN for Point of Care and We Are Specialists for Self-Promotion.

The 8th annual PM360 Trailblazer Awards honors the most influential innovators of the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. The awards are presented to outstanding companies, marketers, and brand managers representing the best that the industry has to offer.

Each year, the Trailblazer Awards Gala has more attendees from the pharmaceutical industry than any other industry event. The event was held at Gotham Hall in New York City.
