National Handwashing Day

Washing your hands is one of the most effective ways to remove germs, avoid getting sick, and stop spreading illness. During the COVID-19 pandemic, it is more important than ever to practice good hand hygiene to reduce the transmission of the virus.

MicroMass was already taking an active role in promoting proper hand washing techniques before the pandemic. We share this resource with interesting research regarding washing with regular soap vs. antibacterial soap. The most important thing to remember is that “scrubbing is an important part” of the process. Even without water, a good scrubbing under water can remove a good amount of germs.
